This excellent women’s golf club set from Callaway is my #1 pick for best women’s petite golf clubs. But make no mistake, these Callaway Solaire Clubs are not your typical set of beginners golf clubs. These clubs are from Callaway – one of the most recognized golf club manufacturers – and the quality and craftsmanship is unparalleled.

These clubs come in, both, regular and petite sizes so it is VERY IMPORTANT that you select the correct size for your height. The petite size of these Callaway Solaire Women’s clubs is ideal for golfers between five feet and five feet four inches tall.

These clubs have shafts that are one inch shorter than a standard ladies golf club set. For example, a standard women’s golf driver has a shaft that measures 43″, the driver included in this set is 42″ (sometimes denoted with a – 1″ designation). The rest of these clubs are also -1″ shorter than standard.

This Callaway Solaire Ladies Golf Club Set includes  Driver, 3-Wood, 5 – 6 Hybrids, 7, 8, 9 irons, Pitching Wedge (PW), Sand Wedge (SW) and Putter. This Cobra Speed XL set are also very easy to play. The driver that comes in this set is one of the most forgiving and possibly the highest quality driver of all the sets included in this guide. The irons are also redesigned for 2019.

The included cart bag (seen in the image here) is very rugged. There are more compartments in this Cobra Golf Bag than any other bag on this list.

This set features a titanium driver with oversized (460cc) club head, 3-W, 5-W, 7-W fairway woods, 5-Hybrid, 6, 7, 8, 9 Irons, Pitching Wedge (PW), Sand Wedge (SW), and Putter, which is MORE clubs than the Solaire Women’s Set I ranked #1.

Because of this, there are no customer reviews yet. So even though I like these clubs a lot, I had a hard time making them my Top Pick without supporting customer reviews from other people who ALSO like these clubs as much as I do.

My third pick for best golf clubs for petite ladies is from Wilson Golf. This set is more reasonably priced than the Callaway and Cobra sets featured above so, while the quality is still high, this Wilson Golf SGI Set may be more appropriate for you if this is your first set of clubs or you only play golf occasionally.

These clubs have been specifically designed for shorter women golfers. All of the clubs in this set (except for the putter) have lightweight graphite shafts and smaller, softer grips that are perfect for the smaller hand sizes of most women.

This set includes a high-loft driver that is more appropriate for the (typically) slower swing speeds of the beginner to intermediate level player. The oversized head has large sweet spot that maximizes forgiveness and the flexible graphite shaft is ideal for greater distance.

Similar to the Callaway Solaire Set featured above, the 6 – 9 irons in this set feature perimeter weighting with an improved, deep back-cavity design that helps to lower the center of gravity and improve accuracy. However, the Pitching Wedge and Sand Wedge do not feature the same design as the irons and are your typical blade-style. The putter is nice with a rubber face that provides a soft feel.

The cart bag seen here (and included with this set) is lightweight and has a double-padded shoulder strap to assist in carrying it from your car to your golf cart. To help you with your purchase decision, I’ve put together this buyer’s guide so that you know what to look for when trying to decide which set of clubs is best for the petite lady golfer.

There are really three things to consider:
